Homework and Announcements - Week 9 (October 6 - 10, 2014)

• DONATIONS:  We need the folloiwng items for our class.  Please donate if you can.  Thank you!
1.  Old magazines.
2.  Empty gallon size milk bottles.

• 10/24 - Lombardi Ranch field trip.  We will need 5 parent volunteers for this trip.  A sign-up sheet will be up in front of our classroom on Friday, October 10th.  It will be first come, first served.

• 10/25 - Carnival of the Howling Wolves

• 10/31 - Halloween Parade

• Please have your child bring in a picture of him/her with his/her friend/s for our Big Question Board.  Thank you!

• As your child is doing homework, please make sure he/she is forming the letters or numbers correctly - top to bottom and from left to right.  Thank you!

• Please remember to log in after you read to or after your child reads to you.  Every 100 minutes read, your child will earn one bead to go on his/her reading chain.

Monday 10/6/14:

Reading:  Read at least 15 minutes. 

Language Arts:  Write letters Pp

Math:  Practice 2.8

Tuesday 10/7/14:

Reading:  Read at least 15 minutes. 
Language Arts:  Listen for initial /p/

Wednesday 10/8/14:

Reading:  Read at least 15 minutes.

Language Arts:  Listen for initial /p/ and /s/

Math:  Practice 2.9

Thursday 10/9/14:

Reading:  Read at least 15 minutes.

Language Arts:  high frequency word "a" sheet

Friday 10/10/14:

Reading:  Read at least 15 minutes.

Organize backpack.
