Homework and Announcements - Week 8 (September 29 - October 3, 2014)

• DONATIONS:  We need the following items for our classroom.  Please donate if you can.  Thank you!

      1.  Old Magazines.
      2.  Empty gallon size milk bottles.

• Thank you to all the parents that came to Back to School Night!

• Thank you to all the parents who placed an order with Scholastic!  I earned 5000 points from the last order!  I have enough points for a printer for our class.  Please continue to order books so that we can get new books and earn more points to get educational items for our classroom.

• 10/3 - Field trip donations and t-shirt orders are due.


• We are starting our new unit in our Treasures reading program next week. Our new unit is "Friends."  Please send a picture of your child with friends for our Big Question Board.  Thank you!

• As your child is doing homework, please make sure he/she is forming the letters or numbers correctly - top to bottom and from left to right.  Thank you!

• Please remember to log in after you read to or after your child reads to you.  Every 100 minutes read, your child will earn one bead to go on his/her reading chain.

Homework and Announcements - Week 7 (September 22-26, 2014)

• DONATIONS:  We need the following items for our classroom.  Please donate if you can.

      1.  30 - Clear 9 3/4"x13" Letter Booklet Button & String Plastic Envelopes from Staples
      2.  Old Magazines.

• 9/23 - Back to School Night:  1st session - 5:30 to 6:00pm; 2nd session - 6:00 to 6:30pm.  In room 3.  Please plan on attending either session.  Parents ONLY.

• 9/25 Unassigned Day - No School

Homework and Announcements - Week 6 (September 15-19, 2014)

• We have 100% PTA membership!  Room 3 has won an ice cream "make your own sundae" party, which will be held on Thursday, 9/18/14.

• 9/25 Unassigned Day - No School

Thank you to the parents that donated towards our classroom wireless headphones!  You are awesome!  

Thank you for working together with me as a team to ensure our students' kindergarten year is a successful one. 


• We have a lot to learn in Room 3.  Please continue to bring your child to school on time.  You have been doing an amazing job on that!  I love it!
