Homework and Announcements - Week 18 (December 15-19, 2014)

• 12/1 - 12/12:  Holiday Toy Drive.

• 12/15:  Winter Program - Please have your child wear formal holiday attire.
   Performances will be at 1:00 p.m. in the MPR.

• 12/17:  Holiday Pizza Lunch - Thank you to all the parents who signed up to bring items, made a donation, and to volunteer on that day.

Homework and Announcements - Week 14 (November 10-14, 2014)

  1.  Please donate canned and dried foods to our canned food drive.  The class with the most donations will win a class pizza party.

• 11/10 - 11/14 - Parent Conference Week - Please show up on time for your parent conference.  Parent conferences will be no longer than 15 minutes.


• 11/11 - Veterans Day - NO SCHOOL

• 11/14 - Autry Museum Trip - Parent volunteers will have to drive themselves to the museum.  I highly recommend carpooling.


• 11/21 - Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast - A letter with information about this will go home on Monday, November 10th.

• 11/14 - Autry Museum Trip - We need 3 parent chaperones for this trip.  Only parents who signed up will attend.  Sign-up sheet will be up on Friday, November 7th.  Parents who did not chaperone on our first trip will have first priority.  As a chaperone, you are there to help supervise students to ensure their safety.  Thank you!

Homework and Announcements - Week 11 (October 20-24, 2014)

10/24 - Lombardi Ranch field trip.  Parents who are chaperoning need to drive themselves to our destination.  I highly recommend carpooling.  The following parents are chaperoning on this trip:  Lucas Brower, Doris Dunlavey, Greg Moore, Kristina Ragaza, and Mark Saxon.

10/25 - Carnival of the Howling Wolves

10/31 - Halloween Parade

 We are starting a new unit in our Treasures reading program next week - Transportations.  Please have your child bring in a picture of any form of transportation.

As your child is doing homework, please make sure he/she is forming the letters or numbers correctly - top to bottom and from left to right. Thank you!

Please remember to log in after you read to or after your child reads to you. Every 100 minutes read, your child will earn one bead to go on his/her reading chain.
Clear plastic envelopes with corrected work and tests are sent home on Fridays. Please make sure to go over the work with your child and return the empty envelope on Mondays. If your child needs to complete any incomplete work, please have them do so and put it back inside the envelope. Thank you!
